Anchors Landing is a gated lakefront community located in Hickory, North Carolina. It is ideally positioned at the protected wilderness foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, one hour from Asheville, Charlotte, Blowing Rock, Boone, and Winston-Salem.
Residents enjoy generous acre-plus wooded lots. Spacious, relaxing clubhouse, swimming pool, stocked fishing lakes, paved scenic hiking trails/bike paths, plus a fenced dry-storage boat area and daily use community boat slips.

Braesael Management Company is charged with managing the day-to-day operations of the community and enforcing the Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions (CC&Rs), By-laws, Policies, Resolutions, and all other guidelines at the direction of the board of directors of Anchors Landing HOA.
Amenities
Gated Community: Electronic security gate with keypad entrance or owner vehicles admitted via Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags.
Tennis: Courts available nearby
Boat Docks: Day Slips and Full-Time Slips, subject to availability. Owners of waterfront lots on Lake Hickory amy obtain permits for private docks.
Golf: Over 20 private and public golf courses available nearby, including Lake Hickory Country Club, Rock Barn Golf Club, and Granada Farms Country Club.
Local Community
Lake Hickory is a fully-recreational lake with 105 miles of shoreline, 4,200 acres water surface, 16 boat launches, six marinas, and a boat-accessible restaurant. The Lake is stocked with many species of edible fish as welll as sport fish. Seasonal fishing tournaments are held on the lake.
Schools: Students attend schools in the Caldwell County Public School System at Granite Falls Elementary, Granite Falls Middle School, and South Caldwell High School. Four community colleges are within a 20-minute drive.
Homes: No specific home builder or architectural style. Anchors Landing Architectural Review Committee approves permanent home plans before construction with minimum homes sizes depending on lot. Construction prices vary depending on owner's plans and level of detail, but are expected to range between $300,000 and $900,000.
Lots: Lot sizes range between 1 and 4 acres and current prices range from $25,000's to the $160,000's depending on views, landscape features, and proximity to the various lakes.
Utilities: Underground power, phone lines, county water and individual septic tanks. HOA contracted High Speed Fiber Optic Internet Service.
