High-Speed Internet Service
Internet service in Anchors Landing is provided by the HOA as an "Anchors Landing Amenity". This provides each resident with up to 100 Mps fiber optic internet service for $41.95 per month, billed annually.
Quick History of High-Speed Internet Service in Anchors Landing
In 2020, the board of directors entered into a 10-year Bulk Agreement with CenturyLink to provide High-speed (up to 100Mps) fiber optic Internet service to all residents at a fixed cost of $41.95 per month. This monthly amount includes a high-speed modem/wireless router and all taxes and service fees. This rate is guaranteed for the term of the contract.
As a result of this contract, the AL Board of Directors voted that all physical residences be provided this service by the HOA and are billed, on an annual basis, for access and availability of high-speed internet to the residence.
In October 2022, CenturyLink became Brightspeed.

Other Questions
1) What if I sell my home? AL Members who sell their homes need to prorate the annual fee with their buyers comparable to annual dues.
2) What if I want to upgrade my internet service? For those interested, Brightspeed will provide an upgrade to higher speed service (up to 1000Mps), with the charge for this additional speed being billed directly to the customer.
3) What if I need other services? Any additional Brightspeed services like landline phones or cable TV are the responsibility of the resident.
